Close your eyes (This is Cat Porn)

Mason was having fun with the cat one day and I snapped this picture. We were laughing so hard at the total disgust written all over our cat's face. Man... don't cat's get any respect at the Nielson? Pretty funny....

Phone call from North Carolina

This morning We got a phone call from North Carolina. Seeing North Carolina on the caller ID was a little scary. I think the first things that went through my mind was "What could be wrong." To my surprise it was the Mission Presidents wife, Sister Hobbs, calling to see if we would put $80.00 in Chase's debit card account because he needed to put his bike in the repair shop. She also said that they loved Chase and that he was doing really well. I told her that he loved his mission and that we had really noticed a good change in him. So all is good in North Carolina and it was really good to hear from Siter Hobbs and hear that she is really enjoying Chase and knows him well.

E-mail from Chase

We got a new e-mail from Chase. Yeah!! He is sooooo busy. He said that this week they got 9 new investigators. He also got a phone call on Conference Sunday from a gal that said that she wanted to be baptized. Well come to find out it was her and her two sisters and they all want to be baptized. Chase is now teaching them and he said they will probably get baptized. He told us that they are the youngest district ever in his mission. While they had 1 baptism last year(in December) they now have 3 Convert baptisms already and a potential of about 6 as of right now. He also said the work in Morresville is moving along at an amazing rate. So much is happening. He is so happy and really excited to be serving the Lord. We love him and have really been blessed as a family sense he has been gone. Amazing experience for all of us.
