Tanner loves to make Chocolate Chip cookies. He has the recipe memorized and he makes the chocolatie goodness at least twice a week. He even comes home from school during his lunch and makes cookies. But mostly he just likes the dough.

{Bear Lake or Bust}

I am posting this a little out of order, but here goes.

{Bear Lake was a blast}

Even if the weather was cool and the water was freezing.

We borrowed Grandpa Nielson's four wheeler. The boys really enjoyed riding all over the beach and through the water. McKay said that it was more fun the riding jet ski's in the water. I told him that depended on how hard the fall would be. Hum... falling in the water or in the dirt. He was still convinced that four wheeling was more fun. Tanner biffed it twice and he definately thought water is softer. This was a very needed and super relaxing vacation. We also spent a lot of time playing Guitar Hero, board games, watching movies and of course eating.

Today was crazy hair day at school. So the twins decided to wear their hair

like each other. They also wore each others clothes. Talk about

mixing them up all day. I guess we are just use to McKay wearing red

and Mason wearing blue. We kept calliing them the wrong

name all day. I tried to talk them into going to each others class

but they wouldn't go for it.

Wedding Plans

Who knew how much work it is to plan a wedding? I thought I did, but I guess I didn't. We are now on the down stretch of wedding planning. Now let's see if we can pull it off. Amee and I have worked really hard on all the plans, choosing a dress, choosing colors, choosing food, decorations, invitations, dresses, tuxes, the cake and the list goes on.... and on.... and on, but I think we have just about got it. Amee's colors are beautiful. She is going to be using Raspberry Pink, olive green, black and white. She is also using a few black and white Damask table clothes. Black and white Damask table clothes have been impossible to find so it looks like I will be making them, and of course we had to order the fabric on line.

Mothers Day

I had a great day on Mothers Day. It was a little different in that we didn't go up to my mom's house because she was in Idaho visiting her sister (Aunt Clara). She is in the Pocatello Hospital with pneumonia. So we just stayed home, but it was really nice. The boys and Kelly gave me a brand new camera and Amee gave me the "Ghost Whisperer". She also made us all dinner which was the best. Grandpa Nielson and Jill came over so they could talk to Chase when he called. Chase called from North Carolina around 6:00 p.m. We put the phone on speaker so that we could all talk to him. He told us that they are now teaching 20 investigators. Wow ! That just seems pretty incredible to me. He is doing really good. It was great to hear his voice. He sounded so happy and excited to be there. We talked for about an hour and fifteen minutes and it was super hard to say good-bye. Boy did that time go fast ! The next phone call will be Christmas. I guess the good news is that by Christmas he will have almost been gone a year. We all miss him a ton but it make it a little easier when you know that he is super happy.
