What a Handsome Bunch...

Well Done Elder Nash

It was so fun to go to the aiprort to welcome Michael home from his mission. Jan, Phil and family flew to Chicago to pick up Mike and tour Chicago. We thought it would be fun to surprise them when they got off the plane. Welcome Home Michael... We Love You !!

Letters from Chase

We got a letter today from Chase. He has a lot of investigators, 6 new ones this week and in his last letter Chase said that they had 9. He has had one baptism(Brother Hendrix) and one more scheduled, a 13 year old girl. He said he can't take credit for the first baptism. It was in the works when he got there. He is so happy and just plain excited about being in North Carolina. He is really enjoying the work. He said on P-Day that he is learning how to play tennis, and I quote "I am horrible at it". We also got a letter from a family in his ward. (The Johnson's). They said, "The missionary efforts have gone crazy". Mrs. Johnson said that she put her arms around Elder Slauson and Chase and told them to take a deep breath. Pretty amazing...
